What do the artifacts tell us about the lives of early humans?

 Artifacts tell us about the early humans, or hominids, and what they did during their time. If there were different kinds of artifacts, then we can assume how their lifestyle was. For example, if they had different assortments of weapons, we can tell that they hunted a lot. If you find a lot of fishing rods near the sea, you could probably tell that the tribe fished more than they hunted. If we find cave paintings, we can tell what had happened in the past.

When we find artifacts, it helps us learn more about hominids, how they lived, and how they survived. Artifacts can take different forms, such as a broken piece of pottery, a spearhead, or cave painting. All of these help us learn more. By observing artifacts, we could also guess what kind of food they ate. If we didn't find artifacts from a certain time period, only bones, like Lucy's, we could tell that they weren't as advanced as the later hominids. 
  
 Finding artifacts help us learn more about ourselves too. Every artifact we find is like fitting a puzzle piece to complete a puzzle. Then we know how we came to be. The more we know, the more advanced we'll be because then we wouldn't make past mistakes. By finding artifacts, we can learn more about ourselves and our history!

What I Would Like to Be

 It's not really what I'd want to be when I grow up, but out of historian, archeologist, or geographer, I'd choose historian. I would like to be a historian because it would be cool to study what other people found and write about it. Since I love to read and write, I'd probably be the best at historian. I don't really like digging in dirt not really interested in the climate or terrain, but I love writing! Besides, digging up skulls and bones would freak me out. 

Historians have to study about people, what they did, and why it is important. When you write history, you have to find the truth to what happened in the past. It sounds challenging and it would be exciting to learn new things! It sounds fun to write important stuff down and know that people would read it one day. We would have to interpret what had happened from the objects that the archeologists found. I love learning history and proving people wrong about their beliefs, like they might think there were sorcery. Another reason I would choose to be a historian is that you can go to sites to see what happened in a certain period of time. Even though I don't like digging or interested in climates and terrains, it would be fun seeing the sites that you are supposed to write about. Historians are kind of like detectives, you have to find out what happened. Hi, I'm Tiffany, and welcome to my blog! I lived in Sugar Land, Texas until I moved to Kuala Lumpur this year. My friends sometimes call me Mustang because I love horses and because it has part of my last name in it! There are 4 people in my family: my mom, dad, my brother, and me. I love reading, writing, horseback riding, basketball, and swimming.

The last movie that I watched was Despicable Me. It was hilarious! I was laughing almost the whole time. It was in 3-D, so that made it even better. Now it's one of my most favorite movie!


One academic goal I have for this year is to try to get an A+ on all of my grades. I'm going to do my best in all my classes so I can achieve my goal! 


 One social goal I have this year is to make new friends. I want to meet new people and make friends from around the world! It would be a fun and exciting experience for me. 


My favorite vacation memory was when my family, cousins, and I went to Disney Land. One particular ride I remember was California Screamin'. We waited in line for 2 hours before we finally got to go on the ride! The ride was so fun and I wanted go again since the ride only took about 2 minutes, but if we did we would have had to wait another 2 hours!
